The document below outlines the steps to process pending orders in Cortex that require manual review.

Log in to cortex.cerebrum.com
Filter the status column on “Pending.”
Select a pending order from the order table.
Review ID images to confirm Name and DOB match what is provided
Confirm the ID isn’t expired
Compare the selfie to the photo on the ID
If you want to move the order to complete - pass
Update search status to “No Alerts Found.”
Select the reportable results button.
Score the order as “ID Verified.”
If you want to move the order to complete - fail
Leave the search status as “Alerts Found.”
Select the reportable results button.
Score the order as “ID not Verified
If an order requires further review or a reorder
Update the search status to “Compliance Review.”
Select the reportable results button.
Score the order as “On Hold.” Optional: Visit the notes tab to post reasoning for scoring the order “On Hold.”
An order may be placed on hold for several reasons: an invalid ID type was submitted, a reorder invitation was sent, the order requires further review, or the applicant has entered incorrect personal information (PII), which must be updated before completing the order.
If you have an order that requires data changes, such as updating the name, DOB, or address, send an email to rachel@cerebrum.com. She will make the changes from our database. Once they are complete, you can move the order to completion.
